Dr. Shanshan Zhong
Dr. Zhong obtained her PhD degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health in 2020. She joined New York University (NYU) Langone Hospital and Yale school of Medicine separately as a visiting student and postgraduate researcher, respectively, from 2019 to 2020. She continued her postdoctoral training at the Center for Excellence in Molecular Biology, CAS, from 2021 to 2022, before joining the Department of Biomedical sciences at City University of Hong Kong in 2023. Her research interest focuses on investigating spatio-temporal regulations of metabolic enzymes in metabolic diseases and cancer.
